Are you passionate about childhood multilingualism and early education? Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with researchers, practitioners, and educators from around the world at the Multilingual Childhoods Conference 2025! Organized by the University of Luxembourg and the EECERA Multilingual Childhoods Special Interest Group (SIG), this exciting conference will take place from May 12–13, 2025, in the University of Luxembourg.

  • Dynamic panel discussion featuring experts Andrea Young (France), Silva Bratož (Slovenia), Brecht Peleman (Belgium), and Fríða Bjarney Jónsdóttir (Iceland).
  • Inspiring paper presentations and interactive poster sessions.
  • Hands-on workshops on translanguaging, teacher-parent collaboration, and teacher education.

Tuesday after lunch, we will offer 90-minute workshops with a hands-on approach on topics such as 1) translanguaging, 2) teacher-parent collaboration, and 3) early childhood teacher education.
