Večjezičnost velja is the Slovenian branch of the Information Center for Multilingualism called Bilingualism Matters, which was founded in Edinburgh in 2008. The aim of the Center for Multilingualism is to reach out to families, educators and anyone who has doubts and questions about raising bilingual or multilingual children or about the lives of adults with more than one language. The branch is located in the Center for Cognitive Language Sciences at the University of Nova Gorica. It provides advice and organizes public events to disseminate information and new knowledge about multilingualism based on scientific evidence
