On the 22nd of June, we had a great event open to families at the University of Luxembourg. At the event, Isabelle Toussaint-Dartevelle, president of the Music Therapy Association in Luxembourg, and Dr. Potheini Vaiouli shared current research-based knowledge on the use of music and music therapy practices to support multilingualism at home. Through music, humming, dancing, and repeating sounds, the event was a joyful workshop where families had the opportunity to play music with real instruments and let their children experiment with them. With the help of some videos, parents gained insight into how to introduce music at home to support multilingual practices.
